About a year ago, a film crew from the PBS program Nova came to film members of the Seminar in Quantitative Political Science Research at Columbia University as we discussed the so-called "wisdom of the crowds."

First visit to your blog. Very nice content and the video is fun. As a stats and history buff, I really enjoyed it. But the apriori assumption that Sir Francis' Wisdom of the Crowds experiment is applicable to the outcome of democratic popular elections? That's crazy!
